Building Leaders for the Next One Hundred Years

What is Century Leadership Conference?

Century Leadership Conference is a gathering of church leaders building a culture of resources and relationships. On April 24, 2017, nearly one thousand leaders will gather to connect, grow and develop. Attendees include all pastoral ministry positions, as well as other key church staff positions.

Greg Surratt

Greg is the founding pastor of Seacoast Church, one of the early adopters of the multi-site model. Located in Mt Pleasant, South Carolina, Seacoast has been recognized by various media as an innovative and influential thought leader in future strategies for church growth and development.

Greg is the president and founding board member of the Association of Related Churches (ARC), a church-planting network that has given birth to 500+ churches in the last 13 years.  Greg and his wife Debbie have 4 children, 14 grandchildren and enjoys reading, photography, fishing, golfing and rooting for lost causes-specifically the Cubs, Bronco and Gamecocks.

Jim Cymbala

Pastor Jim Cymbala is a native New Yorker, raised in the borough of Brooklyn. His early love of basketball earned him a scholarship to the University of Rhode Island, where he became captain of the basketball team. After graduation, he immediately entered the business world and, soon after, he married his childhood sweetheart, Carol Joy Hutchins. Though he did not have formal theological training, Pastor Cymbala felt a call to the ministry.

In the early 1970s Pastor Cymbala took over the leadership of The Brooklyn Tabernacle on Atlantic Avenue in downtown Brooklyn. The small, struggling congregation numbered less than twenty people and met in a small, run-down building surrounded by the physical and moral blight of the inner city.

Today Pastor Cymbala oversees a congregation of several thousand people. Many of the inner- city problems are still there, but so is the congregation’s dependency upon the grace of God, who has raised up workers to direct outreach to children, women, men, youth, seniors, the homeless and people in shelters, among others.

Brady Boyd

Brady is married to his college sweetheart, Pam and is the dad to great kids named Abram and Callie. He has written four books, Addicted to Busy, Fear No Evil, Sons & Daughters, and Let Her Lead. He's also really serious about caring for the people of Colorado Springs by opening numerous Dream Centers.

He has a degree in Journalism from Louisiana Tech, has been a radio announcer for professional baseball and basketball teams, and was the Sports Editor for his college newspaper. Before coming to New Life in 2007, he served Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas for almost seven years.

Kent Ingle

Dr. Kent Ingle serves as the president of Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. Under his leadership, the university has made tremendous strides. In the fall of 2015, SEU brought in its largest freshman cohort in school history. In addition, this fall, the university witnessed the largest enrollment since its founding in 1935.

Before becoming SEU’s president in 2011, Dr. Ingle served as the dean for the College of Ministry at Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington. Dr. Ingle’s professional ministry experience includes eight years as a college professor and 15 years of pastoral leadership to two congregations — one in Los Angeles and the other in Chicago.

His pastoral focus was to lead turnaround churches. He loved helping people discover their unique, God-given design, which they then used to make a significant contribution to a Christ-centered missional ministry in the surrounding community.
